just found IAIS BOXCAR ART - blog "MY NAME IS JOE AND I AM A BOXCAR ART FAN. I NO LONGER LIVE ABOUT 200 FEET FROM THE IOWA INTERSTATE RAILYARD IN IOWA CITY, BUT I BIKE THERE NOW AS OFTEN AS I CAN. I AM DOCUMENTING THOSE THAT PARTAKE IN THE DUBIOUS ACT OF AFFIXING THEIR NAMES AND LIKENESSES TO THE SIDES OF THE CARS THAT ROLL THROUGH TOWN."
When i see photos like the flix above i think pretty often "buffers don t like just to clean." They like to paint as well but they are just allowed to work with corporate identity colors. it s a shame that workers are not allowed to clean panels in the way they would like to. i guess writers would be happy to find a larger scale of background colors on trains and buffers at least would have fun by erasing panels and finally they can call themselves artists , too .
This picture reminds me on the last discussions on streetfiles. naked girls vs graffiti on skin . Sometimes it went extremly strange ... well this could be a nice reaction from russia on this topic. via
Other made a tour through eastern Europe - again. I love his small, detailed works on rotten backgrounds ... go on "hobo other". more stuff of other here
